Sized to Your Site: How We Built the TitanOps Lineup
Most security technology is sold one way, take it or leave it: one platform, one price sheet and a feature list built around the vendor's biggest customer. If you run a single building with a handful of cameras that matter, you pay for capacity you will never use. If you run a campus or several sites, the starter product runs out of room by the second building.
We built the TitanOps lineup to avoid both problems. This post explains how we thought about it. The details of each offering follow over the coming weeks.

The case for one platform
A single, do-everything platform has real advantages. One product is simpler to buy, simpler to support and simpler to explain to a board. For a large organization with a dedicated security team and the budget to match, a full-featured system from day one can be the right call. We absolutely understand that.
The trouble is that most sites aren't that organization.
Where one size stops fitting
Small sites pay for scale they don't need. A clinic, a municipal lot or a single campus building usually needs a few high-concern cameras watched well, not a command center. A platform priced for a stadium puts that out of reach.
Starter products don't grow. The opposite problem is just as common. A basic box covers the first building, then the site adds a second building, a parking structure or another location, and the answer is a different system.
Features come as a bundle. You get the whole package or nothing, so you pay for analytics you never turn on while the one capability you actually need sits in a higher tier.
Deployment turns into a project. Larger platforms often mean long installs, specialist setup and weeks before the first useful alert.
How we built the lineup
We started from the site, not the product. That led to four principles.
- Sized to the need and scale of each customer. At one end is a small form factor unit that is very cost-efficient and does the necessary detection and alerting, nothing more. At the other is a robust multi-site offering built to support the biggest security needs. Every offering runs on the cameras a site already owns, from any manufacturer.
- Choose your own adventure. With each TitanOps variant, the customer chooses from a feature set instead of accepting a fixed bundle. That feature set draws on what TitanOps does: detection, basic behaviors such as loitering, after-hours intrusion, crowd density and vehicles dwelling in fire lanes, custom-trained behaviors for patterns specific to one site, configurable alerting, access control integration and, for sites that want it later, drones as an optional expansion.
- Effortless deployment. That is the goal we design against. In the coming weeks, you'll see that each offering can be deployed as quickly as, if not quicker than, a typical IP camera.
- Trained installers, with Vigilare behind them. Our installers get robust training on configuring and fine-tuning TitanOps for each environment. After installation, Vigilare remains available with on-site or remote support so you get the most out of your units.
| One-size platform | Basic starter product | TitanOps lineup | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Built for | The vendor's largest customers | The smallest sites | Each site's need and scale |
| Cost for a small site | Pays for capacity it won't use | Low | Small, cost-efficient unit with the detection and alerting you need |
| Room to grow | Plenty | Limited; growth often means a new system | Step up within the same lineup, up to multi-site |
| Features | Fixed bundle | Fixed, basic | Chosen from a feature set |
| Deployment | Often a long project | Usually quick | Designed to go in as fast as a typical IP camera |
| Setup and support | Varies | Varies | Trained installers, plus on-site or remote support from Vigilare |
Which end of the lineup fits you
Look toward the small end if you:
- Protect one building, lot or entrance
- Have a few cameras that matter far more than the rest
- Need reliable detection and alerts, not a full operations center
- Are working with a tight budget
Look toward the larger end if you:
- Cover a campus, a venue or more than one site
- Want cameras and access control in one operational view
- Need behavioral analysis across many areas with different schedules
- Expect to add drones or other sensors later
For integrators, one lineup means one conversation from the smallest job to the largest. You can bid a single clinic and a multi-site campus from the same platform, on whatever cameras are already installed, with training and support from us behind the install.
What's coming next
Over the next several weeks, we'll walk through the lineup one offering at a time, from TitanOps T20 to T10 to T4: who each one is for, what it includes, how it deploys and how a package comes together. If you're planning a project now, you don't have to wait for the series to finish.
The bottom line
The right security system is the one sized to your site, not to the vendor's biggest customer. We built TitanOps to start small and cost-efficient where that's what a site needs, to scale to multi-site operations where it isn't, and to go in without turning installation into a project.
